‘Avatharudu’ in theatres from April 4th!

This is a time for remakes. Not only are films in the neighbouring states and languages remade but this has become a success formula throughout the country.

Well, ‘Avatharudu’ is a remake of the Tamil film ‘Alwaar’ that had Ajith and Asin playing the lead pair. In telugu the film has been remade under the ‘Shalini Cine Creations’ banner. ‘Avatharudu’ has been directed by Super Subbharayan and produced by Y.V.Shetty.

The producer has confirmed that the film will hit theatres this April 4th. While speaking on this film the producer also stated that the hero will surprise the audience with a variety of appearences, and this will be the most important feature of the film.

‘Avatharudu’ features five songs – one of which has been shot in the snow-peaked mounts of Himalayas, two more songs have been shot in Malayasia and Singapore.

The director of this film being a stunt choreographer, the audience can definitely expect dare-devil stunt sequences in the film.

The music of Srikanth Deva has proved a hit in the Tamil version, and lets hope history is repeated in Telugu as well.

Asin to dub for herself for Aamir’s film

Asin is a very busy girl these days. She has two Bollywood films in the making, and we hear more offers pouring in.

But the Malayalee belle is also busy giving dubbing for her film with Aamir Khan.

Just shooting for her part does not end the matter for Asin. Unlike most heroines who get their voice dubbed when they act in other languages, Asin says she is giving the dubbing as she had learnt Hindi as a child.

Of course, not that she is very comfortable with the language, but knowing her, she will give her best.

Also, since Aamir Khan happens to be her co-star, she cannot but afford to be perfect!

The latest we hear from Bollywood sources is that Asin has accepted two films, one opposite Shahid Kapoor, to be directed by Ken Ghosh, and the other as Big B’s daughter in Honey Irani’s next flick.

Another project worth mentioning is the offer to play the leading lady opposite Salman Khan in Sohail Khan’s next venture, touted to be a mega-budget musical. She has, however, denied rumors of settling in Mumbai for good and insists that it is only a temporary move and will be back in Chennai for her next Tamil movie. With all our male stars failing to make a mark in Bollywood, let’s hope we see another Sridevi in the making.

Asin is presently in Mumbai spending the Christmas-New Year weekend with her parents at her paternal aunt’s house.She is now being flooded with offers in Hindi and is contemplating her future moves.
