Charmme is equally popular for her Sree Anjaneyam type act and her Anukonanda Oka Roju style performance. After having proved her skill with heroine-oriented roles and item songs also, she’s been in much demand all over the place! Producers and directors who don’t want to leave any stone unturned in publicity, seem to want to cash in on this demand that she garners.

As a result, all her publicity stills seem to concentrating on showing her cleavage as much as they can! Whoever said performance alone can bring praises!

Famous Film Director Krishna Vamsi Car Accident in Nandigama

Film Director Krishna Vamsi injured car accident on National Highway 9 today evening at Nandigama, near Vijayawada, Krishna District.

Krishna Vamsi was coming to Hyderabad from Vijayawada. The car in which Vamsy was traveling went out of control when the driver wanted to overtake a scooter.

Krishna vamsy was provided first aid at Nandigama Hospital. He suffered head & hand injury. He is out of danger and he was discharged from the hospital. Krishna vamsy is coming to Hyderabad in another car after first aid.

Krishna Vamsy is doing a film with Tarun and the shoot is progressing in Vijayawada.

Katrina Kaif in ‘Puli’

It is well aware that the shooting of ‘Puli’ was postponed due to the accident occurred to its director SJ Surya during the shooting of a Tamil film.

The Pawan Kalyan-starrer, Puli, produced by Singanamala Ramesh on the banner of Sri Kanakaratna Movies is likely to go to sets in July.

Though Parvati Melton was selected as the second heroine of the movie, the selection of main heroine is yet to be done. It is worth mentioning here that Karina Kapoor and Priyanka were first contacted for the heroine slot but they expressed their inability as they were otherwise busy in Hindi films.

Later, Sneha Ullal, a look alike of Aiswarya was contacted and the name of Hansika was also under consideration.

Now gossips are doing rounds in Film Nagar circles that the unit is planning to rope in Katrina Kaif as heroine. It is learnt that Pawan Kalyan personally spoke to Katrina Kaif and offered her the chance but the latter did not assure him anything immediately.

Tollywood Pays Last Respects To Mallikharjuna Rao

Almost all the big shots of Tollywood rushed to the Apollo Hospital once the news of the death of the famous actor Mallikharjuna Rao came out in the media.

Megastar Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Pawan Kalyan, NTR, Allu Arjun, Srihari, Tarakaratna, Srikanth, Nagababu, ‘Allari’ Naresh, Aryan Rajesh, Brahmaji, Rajiv Kanakala, Sivajiraja, Nitin, Rajasekhar, Jeevitha, Dharmavarapu, Bramhanandam, LB Sriram, EVV Satyanarana, Paruchuri Brothers, Satyanarayana, actress Roja, D.Ramanaidu, T.S.Vijay Chander, Kalyani, Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Rallapalli, Ranganath, Ranganath, Krishna Bhagavan, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Poonam Kaur and Vijay Chander are some of the personalities from the film field who came to pay their last respects to the ace comedian.

Varun Sandesh’s next flick is ‘Idea Venkat’

Varun Sandesh, who made his debut in ‘Happy Days’ got an opportunity of his lifetime in AVM Productions’ movie.

Vimala Raman is the female lead, while Marthand K Shankar, brother of popular film editor Marthand K Venkatesh, is making his debut as director, for the film to be produced by M Saravanan and MS Guhan.

The film was titled as ‘Idea Venkat’ with a tagline ‘24 hours roaming’. Venugopal is the cinematographer while music is by Manisharma.

The film is likely to roll very soon.

Nag’s ‘King’ shooting in brisk progress

The Nagarjuna-starrer ‘King’ directed by Sreenu Vaitla and produced by D Sivaprasad Reddy on the banner of Kamakshi Kala Movies is progressing at a fast pace.

Producer says, ‘We launched the regular shooting of our film on June 6 and it would continue till October without any break. We will take up post-production works in November. Many of Nagarjuna’s films like ‘Manmadhudu’, ‘Mass’ and ‘Don’ proved hits as they were released in December. In order to keep the sentiment alive, we are also making efforts to release the film on December 18. Earlier I produced ‘Vicky Dada, Allari Alludu, Sitaramaraju and Nenunnanu’ with Nagarjuna and I was quite satisfied as they were big hits. We can confidently say that this movie would be in the same range.’

Director Sreenu Vaitla says, ‘This is my first combination with Nagarjuna. I am trying to inject all kinds of commercial elements to satisfy all classes of audiences in general and Nagarjuna’s fans in particular.’

The speciality of the film is that Trisha for the first time pairing up with Nagarjuna, while Srihari is appearing in a special role.

Brahmanandam, Sunil, Venumadhav, MS Narayana besides 40 other prominent artistes are playing key roles in the movie.

‘Ninna, Nedu, Repu’ to hit screen on July 4

The youths belonging to rural areas used to reach the cities with high hopes of earning lakhs of rupees. They dream to earn money and show enthusiasm to realise their dreams.

But did the conditions in the city allow them to realise their dreams? The answer would be a sure no. Director of ‘Ninna, Nedu Repu’ Lakshmikanth Chenna says, ‘We are trying to explicitly show on the screen what would be the situation in the city through our movie.’ Ravikrishna, Akshara are playing the lead, while Tamanna is playing another heroine.

Producer Nukarapu Suryaprakasa Rao says, ‘The entire film would be an entertainer and would attract the youth in particular. We are making efforts to release the film on July 4.’

Music is by Anil, cinematography is by Vincent, while Kunireddy Srinivas is the executive producer.

Mallikharjuna Rao is no more

The popular and the loved comedian Mallikharjuna Rao took his last breath in the Apollo hospital this morning at 10.50 a.m. The actor was suffering from acute leukemia for the past few months and was admitted to the hospital a few days back.

The senior comedian has acted in 375 films and started his career in the film ‘Ladies Tailor’ directed by Vamsi. In this film he was noted in a character named Battala Satyam.

In many of the super hit films directed by EVV Satyanarayana, Mallikharjuna Rao enacted memorable roles.

He received the prestigious Nandi Award for the best character actor in the film ‘Thammudu’.

The body of the ace comedian is being kept in the Movie Artists Association Hall for sometime before being taken to his home town for the last rites.

May his soul rest in peace.

Kajal replaces Tamanna

Tamanna of ‘Happy Days’ fame was supposed to act in the sequel to Arya. Sukumar is making the sequel and Allu Arjun is the hero.

While Tamanna has been replace with Kajal Agarwal, she says that she gave up the role as she could not adjust her dates.

Tamanna is now acting in ‘Ninna Nedu Repu’ with Ravikrishna, and with Siddhartha in ‘Konchem Ishtamga Konchem Kashtamga’.

She is also being considered for a role in Pawan Kalyan’s Puli.

Venkatesh in Srinu Vaitla’s next film

Hero Venkatesh is going to act in a movie to be directed by the popular director Srinu Vaitla. Srinu Vaitla is is touted as one of the best among the directors in Tollywood today.

His film ‘Ready’ which got released yesterday is getting good reviews.

Srinu is presently completing the film ‘King’ having Nagarjuna as the leading man. Venkatesh is currently shooting for the film ‘Chinthakayala Ravi’ in which Anushka is his heroine.

After both Srinu and Venkatesh are done with their present commitments, the shooting of the movie will commence.

The heroine has not been fixed yet.

Suresh Babu, Sunil who is the Nizam area distributor of Asian Films and producer Giri are producing the new movie of Srinu Vytila.
